Department of Horticulture

Horticulture and Food Science and Nutrition are the units of this department.

Department of Horticulture

    Horticulture department  provides both teaching and research opportunities to the students in a pleasant environment. Around 60 hectares of farm lands is devoted to horticulture cater to the needs of teaching, research, training, seed production and plant propagation activities.

From the department of horticulture we offering the following courses for UG B.Sc.(Agri) students

Department of Food Science and Nutrition

    Unit of Food Science and Nutrition provides both teaching and research opportunities to the students of UG and Diploma. Well equipped facilities are available for food processing and Value addition.

The instruments present in the lab are

    2. Fruit Crusher
    3. Baking Owen
    4. Hot Case
    5. Sugarcane Juicer
    6. Packing and Sealing Machine
    7. Milling Machine
