CHRONOLOGY OF ACHIEVEMENTS<\/span><\/h5>
  • Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research was established during the year 2016 at Athimugam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Our college achieved illustrious ICAR accreditation and prestigious permanent affiliation of TNAU during the year 2024.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Our College obtained a scheme titled, \u201cFront Line Demonstration and Training on IPM Technology for Coconut Rugose Spiralling Whitefly (RSW), (Aleyrodicus rugiopercullatus<\/em> Martin) from the Coconut Development Board during the year 2025.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Our College obtained a scheme titled, \u201cEnrichment of Vermicompost with various Organic Sources and different Application Rate on the Yield and Quality in Bhendi (Abelmoschus esculentus <\/em>)<\/em> from the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, DOTE Campus, Chennai during the year 2023.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Annexed 15 acres of land under cultivation to the existing 121.75 acres.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Installed solar powered water pump, street lights and water heater to the campus.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Proud owner of Drone.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

    Academics<\/span><\/h6>
    • Priyanga and S. Sadhana of I year (2024 Batch) participated in the Agri and Food Hackathon 2025, organized by StartUp Tamil Nadu on 14.03.2025 at Shri Shanmuga Educational Institutions, Sankari, Salem. They got FIRST prize in the Hackathon and received a CASH PRIZE of Rs. 25,000\/-<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Pradeesh, I year Student (2024 Batch) excelled the State Level Selection and represented the STATE at the National Youth Festival 2025 – Vikshit Bharat Vision at New Delhi.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Menaga, I year Student (2024 Batch) received \u201cBEST POSTER AWARD\u201d at the \u201cSustainability Conclave on Productivity and Green Growth\u201d at TNAU on 03.01.2025.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Thirty Three students of 2020 batch got higher rank in ICAR AIEEA – PG entrance examination in different subjects. Similarly Sixteen students of ACAR (2019 batch) had successfully qualified in the ICAR – JRF examination in various disciplines during last year.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Four students of 2020 batch viz., R. Karthik (2020042034), V. Harini Priyanka (2020042012), V. Vivekanada Reddy (2020042106) and V. Delux Sachin (2020042028) participated in a State Level Ideation Hackathon, conducted by Tamil Nadu Innovation cum Initiatives, Advanced Institute for Wildlife Conservation, Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Villupuram Division on 24th<\/sup> April 2024. The students presented their innovative idea on the topic \u201cAn Integrated Strategy for the Rejuvenation of Heavy Metal Polluted Soils near Kelavarapalli Dam, Krishnagiri District\u201d and bagged THIRD PRIZE in the competition.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

      Sports<\/span><\/h6>
      • The 2021 Batch students viz., R. Kishore and D. Keerthi, took part in the District-level Games for Chief Minister\u2019s Trophy on 20.09.2024 and 21.09.2024.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 D. Keerthi won a GOLD MEDAL in the 100m and a SILVER MEDAL in the 200m. Mr. R. Kishore secured a SILVER MEDAL in the 400m and a BRONZE MEDAL in the 800m relay.<\/strong><\/li>
      • D. Keerthi (2021 Batch) got GOLD MEDAL in 4x100m relay and SILVER MEDAL in 4X400m (women) relay during the 21st<\/sup> All India Inter Agricultural Universities Games and Sports Meet 2022 – 23, at the CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar from 20th<\/sup> to 24th<\/sup> February 2023 and Mr. V. Delux Sachin (2020 Batch) bagged SILVER MEDAL in 4X400m (men) relay during the event.<\/strong><\/li>
      • Sriram won GOLD MEDAL in 1500m and D. Keerthi secured BRONZE MEDAL in 100m during the inter-collegiate tournament conducted at AC & RI, Kudumiyanmalai.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>
        Talents<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>
        • TALENTIA 2024, a state-level inter-collegiate cultural competition was held at AC&RI, Madurai from 18.07.2024 to 21.07.2024. Totally 23 students from ACAR actively participated in the competition. Students bagged prizes for various competitions. The 2020 Batch students viz., J.P. Navin Raja and A. Alexander got SECOND PLACE IN MONO ACTING and TAMIL TURNCOAT respectively and V. Niveditha was awarded as BEST POET IN ENGLISH.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>
          Placement<\/span><\/h6>
          • Two students of 2020 Batch from ACAR got selected in Murugappa Group of Companies.<\/strong><\/li>
          • Nine students of 2020 Batch from ACAR got selected in Hightech Agriculum Pvt. Ltd.<\/strong><\/li>
          • R. Vinodh, K. Chandru, J. Sandeep Chowdry and N. Ravindar (2016 batch) have been appointed as AGRICULTURAL OFFICERS through TNPSC.<\/strong><\/li>
          • S. Arul Priya has secured a position through TNPSC Group 2A as an ASSISTANT IN THE HIGHWAYS DEPARTMENT.<\/strong><\/li>
          • M. Ranjithkumar has been selected through TNPSC Group 2A as an ASSISTANT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.<\/strong><\/li>
          • D. Silambu has been appointed as a SENIOR INSPECTOR IN THE COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES DEPARTMENT through TNPSC Group 2A.<\/strong><\/li>
          • R. Lavanya has been placed through TNPSC Group 2A as an ASSISTANT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.<\/strong><\/li>
          • V. Haribalaji has been appointed as an ASSISTANT MANAGER at Karur Vysya Bank in the Agriculture Department.<\/strong><\/li>
          • J. Vanathi has secured the position of GDS (ABPM) in the POSTAL DEPARTMENT.<\/strong><\/li>
          • S. Meenatchi has joined Indian Bank as an ASSISTANT MANAGER.<\/strong><\/li>
          • K. Sachidhanandham has been placed in BANKING (CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA) in the Agriculture Department.<\/strong><\/li>
          • R. Sajin Rajino has joined Tamil Nadu Grama Bank as an ASSISTANT in the agricultural sector.<\/strong><\/li>
          • M. Vasanthakrishna Reddy has been appointed as a MANAGER at HDFC Bank in the Agriculture Sector.<\/strong><\/li>
          • Additionally 25 students from ACAR secured positions in private companies and 10 students became entrepreneurs and launched their own startups.<\/strong><\/li>
          • Rangu Ravi Kamal become an ENTREPRENEUR with a startup.
